Iron Thunderhorse, a political prisoner in Texas for 33 years, though blind and handicapped, has followed cultural footprints reviving ancient ceremonies, resurrecting the Quiripi dialect from the ashes and explores the roots of his ancestors. His wife uses his writings, poetry, art and personal insights to reveal his triumphs and tribulations. An internationally recognized Native American leader, his art is in the Smithsonian Museum.
